The prize was awarded at the International Inventions Fair in Seoul, which took place from 2 – 5 December 2010, the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center in Seoul. The patronage over the event covered the International Federation of Inventors Associations (IFIA) and the World Intellectual Property Organization WIPO.
