CI2026 Brought Together Global Experts in Hearing Implantology and Otologic Surgery

From May 10–13, 2026, the 18th International Conference on Cochlear Implants and other Implantable Technologies (CI2026) took place — one of the world’s largest and most prestigious events dedicated to hearing implants, otology, and otologic surgery. The conference was hosted by the Institute of Sensory Organs and the World Hearing Center of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing.

Held in Kajetany and Warsaw, the conference gathered nearly 3,000 participants from 85 countries. Over the course of four days, almost 400 leading speakers from around the world — including physicians, scientists, engineers, therapists, and specialists in advanced hearing technologies — delivered lectures, presentations, and scientific reports.

CI2026 served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience, the presentation of the latest scientific and medical achievements, and discussions on the future of hearing implantology. The conference program featured numerous scientific sessions, expert debates, workshops, and presentations of innovative technological solutions used in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with hearing disorders.

“This year’s edition of the conference demonstrated the remarkable pace at which global hearing implantology is evolving, as well as the importance of international collaboration between scientific and clinical communities. We are proud to have created a space where specialists from around the world could meet and engage in discussions about the future of hearing treatment,” the organizers emphasized.

The conference was also supported by partners and sponsors representing leading companies and institutions associated with hearing implantology and medical technologies.

The event’s sponsors included Advanced Bionics, Cochlear, MED-EL, Center of Hearing and Speech MEDINCUS, Audica, DiaTec, Medicus Expert, Oticon, GNP Magnusson, MEDINCUS Hearing Aids, Nurotron, Oticon Medical, Acoustic Insight, Auritec, Frontiers in Audiology and Otology, and SmartEar.

Media patrons of the event included Audiology Research, Kompendium24, Konsylium24.pl, and Puls Medycyny.

Once again, CI2026 confirmed its position as one of the world’s key events dedicated to hearing implants and modern medical technologies supporting patients with hearing disorders. The organizers emphasized that the tremendous interest in the conference, along with the presence of specialists from around the world, reflects the growing importance of international cooperation in the advancement of modern hearing medicine.
