We have a great pleasure to invite you to the 6th International Course in the Endoscopic Sinus Surgery organized in Kajetany (25-27.02.2015r).
Instruction will be provided by recognized experts in rhinosurgery, who will share with participants their wide knowledge of the endoscopic treatment of paranasal sinuses. The course program will include lectures on anatomy and diseases of sinuses, conservative and surgical treatment methods.

17th Tashkent International Healthcare Exhibition took place in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) on 24-27 of April 2012. About 130 companies from the whole world, i.e. from Australia, Belarus, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Japan, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Holland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Switzerland and many other countries took part in it. The Minister of Health of Republic Uzbekistan and many representatives of the pharmaceutical companies and diplomatic corps participated in exhibition opening.
The center of Hearing and Speech Medincus was presented in the exhibition under the aegis of Trade and Investment Promotion Section of Polish Embassy. The stand was visited by many interested people.
International agreement of cooperation between “Institute of Sensory Organs” (Kajetany, Poland) and “National Medical Center of Ministry of Health of Tajikistan Republic” (Dushanbe, Tajikistan) was signed on 18th November 2011 in Dushanbe (Tajikistan).
Ceremonial signing of the agreement was performed during Tajik – Polish conference “Modern problems of reconstructive and plastic microsurgery of ENT organs, child otorhinolaryngology and audiology in Republic of Tajikistan”. The agreement was signed by Piotr Henryk Skarzyński (the board member of Institute of Sensory Organs, Kajetany) and Shehov Abdukarim Jalolovich (director of National Medical Center of Ministry of Health of Tajikistan Republic, Dushanbe). The agreement is aimed at the experience, scientific information exchange and realization of joint projects to the interest of both states.
Journal of Hearing Science is dedicated to current peer-reviewed scientific research in all areas of Otolaryngology, Audiology, Phoniatrics, and Rhinology. Its primary mission is to offer an international forum for professionals; a secondary aim is to assist hearing practitioners by providing important knowledge helpful to patients with hearing, voice, speech, and balance disorders.
The journal is an open access publication which allows all readers around the world free access to articles. Moreover, there are no publication fees or page charges. Before acceptance for publication, each manuscript is subject to critical review by leading authorities in the field.

Prof. Henryk Skarzynski, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. h.c. has been appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Hearing Science.
The International Fair of Innovation, Scientific Research and New Technologies „MEDINNOVA 2011” took place in Casablanca, Morocco, 30 November – 3 December. It was dedicated to the technology transfer and implementation of technological development.
Research institutes, universities, high technical schools, companies of research and implementation, governmental institutions of Morocco that support research and implementation took part in the Fair. Representatives of Spain, France, Russia and Poland were found among international exhibitors.
Solutions presented at the Fair were connected to various spheres: Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Environmental Protection, Recycling, Medicine and medical techniques, Energy, Mechanics, Microelectronics, Engineering, Construction, Informatics and communication and others.
The Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing in cooperation with the Institute of Sensory Organs presented the Senses Examination Platform, which is a portable device similar to notebook, used for screening of hearing, eyesight and speech among children, teenagers and people that need special education. Senses Examination Platform has received many awards and medals in Western and Eastern Europe and Asia, the medial from „MEDINNOVA 2011” Fair is the first that was brought from the African continent.
Polish stand was visited by Mr Dariusz Osiak, the first Secretary of the Department of Trade Promotion and Investments of the Polish Embassy in Casablanca, who also participated in ceremonial reward of the medal.
The Fair was organized by Ministry of Education, High Schooling, Education of Personnel and Scientific Research of Morocco together with R&D Foundation (Research & Development), Ministry of Industry, Trade and New Technologies, Ministry of General and Economical Affairs. The inventions were evaluated by Jury, which consisted of the representatives of Ministries and Research Institutions.
The award of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for the particular activity in the promotion of inventions abroad was handed in during the inauguration of the 18th Exchange of Polish Inventions awarded at world exhibitions in 2010. The gala took place on 7 March 2011 in the main building of the Museum in the Palace of Culture and Science.
During the ceremony, were presented also others awards of the Ministry of Culture and Higher Education Award for the Institute of Sensory Organs for the Senses Examination Platform and the Institute of Sensory Organs with the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing for joint project: Home Rehabilitation Clinic.
The prize was awarded at the International Inventions Fair in Seoul, which took place from 2 – 5 December 2010, the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center in Seoul. The patronage over the event covered the International Federation of Inventors Associations (IFIA) and the World Intellectual Property Organization WIPO.
